Standing up on his own!!

Riley has been standing up without holding onto something for awhile now, but lately he is really holding it for awhile. Looks like walking isn't too far away!

Making Ornaments

A few weeks before Christmas, we took Riley to a paint your own pottery place to make ornaments

A few weeks ago we took Riley to the Jacksonville Zoo and he loved it!

He liked the reptile exhibits best because they were so close to the glass

8 month update

Riley now weighs a little over 20 pounds. He has picked up all sorts of things like waving hello. We broke out the play yard, which has been a life saver now that Riley is SO mobile and into everything!

He now has 6 teeth and 2 more appear to be coming very soon. He is also now a super crawler and will pull himself up and sidestep while holding onto something. He has even started to stand up without holding onto something for a few seconds.

We have convinced ourselves that he says Mama and Dada and actually means us, and is just plain talkative all the time. We can't believe how fast he is growing up!

He is really enjoying feeding himself solid foods like puffs and yogurt melts. He even chews them with his teeth so that you can hear crunching which cracks us up for some reason.
