He didn't mind his life vest-of course it helped that he was sleeping! I can't believe they actually make them this small!
Brian feeding Riley in our little pop-up sun enclosure
It was really windy at one point so we put him on a chair with a towel blocking the wind. He sat there, wide awake, for more than an hour just watching the towel move and kicking at it!

8.5 weeks old
So Riley is now 8.5 weeks old, just 3 days shy of 2 months and again the change is monumental. Today he weighed 12 pounds (in the 50-75th percentile) and was 23 3/4 inches long (75th percentile). He also got his first shots today, but took them like a champ! Much better than Shondra took them!
Here are his 3 war wounds (along with a pic of his fatty leg butts!)
But he's still smiling afterwards!
He is big enough to sit up in the bathtub now. And yes, those are stategically placed bubbles!
Drying off with Tigger
Cuddling with Mommy
Still thinks tummy time is for sleeping
Getting ready for the summer
Swimming in the pool with Daddy
He also smiles all the time and makes all sorts of Ooh, aah and coo sounds

5 weeks old
So Riley is 5 weeks old today and has changed so much! He has gained about 2 pounds and about 1.5 inches in length. He has also become a lot more aware-he loves to stare at his mobiles or at people or at the dogs! He also has started reaching for things. And the cooing is adorable!
Eating with Daddy
Why does Daddy always do that to Riley's hair?

The dogs are on guard ;)
Grayson caught in the act! The animals have been really great with him. The cats pretty much ignore him but they do enjoy his accessories!
He LOVES his gator mobile. He will sit and stare at it forever (or until he gets hungry!) At this rate, he'll know the fight song before he can even talk!
We try to give him tummy time but Riley interprets this as nap time.
Riley on his activity mat. For some reason he has it in for the seahorse!
Emily likes to keep Riley company
And sometimes she imitates him
Emmitt stops by to check everything out
Then hangs out for awhile
