First Professional Haircut

We took Riley to Doodle Doo's, a children's hair salon. Bye bye curly mullet!

But he still wouldn't let go of his toys!

He also got to watch Elmo while he had the haircut.

I think he likes his new cut!

Good thing we didn't find these before or we never would have got him to sit still for the haircut. He loved this tunnel!

Aunt Jenny's Bridal Shower

Aunt Jenny's bridal shower was on Feb 5 and Riley was invited to attend (and hit on all the hot ladies)! Congratulations Aunt Jenny!

Walking without the lion now!

For a few days now Riley has started to take some tentative steps. Good thing those diapers are so padded!

Every day he is getting so much better at it. He will be running in no time!

Last few weeks

I have gotten really behind and haven't updated the blog in a few weeks so here is the start on catching up!

At Riley's 9 month doctor appointment he weighed 20.9 pounds (25-50th%), measured 29 inches long (50-75th%) and his head circumference was 46cm (50-75th%).

The Swesey's and Barta's came over for the Outback Bowl on New Years Day

All the parents were pretty tired so luckily the kids were happy to entertain themselves in the playyard!

Around the middle of January, we brought out a couple of walkers for Riley and he took right to them. He especially liked the lion!

The Bath-hawk

Playdate at our house with Keeley and Chelsey (and their moms Tiffany and Emily!)

Had a Jello party at school and came home exhausted with hands, arms and face dyed red! He must have had a blast!

Riley now loves to mimic us. Here he is clicking back to me, doing bababa (repeated hand to mouth), and mad face!

He also is learning to love to explore and climb under and over everything! Uh oh!

I swear he was standing when I clicked the picture!
