So Riley is 5 weeks old today and has changed so much! He has gained about 2 pounds and about 1.5 inches in length. He has also become a lot more aware-he loves to stare at his mobiles or at people or at the dogs! He also has started reaching for things. And the cooing is adorable!

Grayson caught in the act! The animals have been really great with him. The cats pretty much ignore him but they do enjoy his accessories!
He LOVES his gator mobile. He will sit and stare at it forever (or until he gets hungry!) At this rate, he'll know the fight song before he can even talk!
We try to give him tummy time but Riley interprets this as nap time.

Back to the hospital...
The night we came home from the hospital, Riley spiked a fever and we had to take him to Wolfson's Children's hospital. He was hospitalized for 48 hours but has made a fast and full recovery and is doing great!
They had to put his IV catheter in his head! It really didn't seem to bother him but it was horrible for Brian and I!
E.T. baby! There is a pulse oximetry probe on his toe to measure the oxygenation of his blood.
Riley's setup - if we can change a diaper with all this stuff attached to him then we should be good to go!

Riley is finally here! Born March 23, 2010 (on his due date!) at 2:05pm weighing 8.0 pounds and measuring 20.0 inches long.
